Strawberries are in full season now, so juicy, fresh and sweet! When I picked yesterday some from the Farmer’s Market, I couldn’t wait to use them in one of my favorite desserts – chocolate fondue!
So, meet my current obsession, strawberries with chocolate fondue in a glass! So convenient, easy and delicious! The chocolate is still warm and comforting, the strawberries fragrant and a little tangy and everything is topped with some cloudy and delicious whipped cream!
Ingredients:
for one serving
- 6 oz dark chocolate
- 5 oz sliced strawberries
- 5 oz heavy cream
- 1 tsp powdered sugar
Directions:
Chop the chocolate and add it to a microwave safe bowl, pour 2 oz of heavy cream on top and microwave for 30 sec, give it a stir and microwave for another 30 sec. Pour the chocolate into a deep and wide glass, add the strawberries. In a mixer, beat on high for one minute the remaining heavy cream with the sugar, until whipped cream is formed. Top the strawberries with whipped cream and enjoy!
