PB, Chocolate Chunks and Marshmallows Chewy No Bake Bars

I haven’t had PB in a few months; I got tired of it and started experimenting with some other nut butters, like raw cashew butter, chocolate coconut butter, and sunflower seed butter! However, this weekend all I craved was just a simple PB and Banana sandwich, after a trip to the store I had my creamy jar of PB goodness, and inhaled my sandwich in 1 min flat! With all that PB in my system I started brainstorming new ideas of No Bake bars that are easy to make, portable and delicious!! After searching my pantry I decided on two ingredients that will be the stars: Marshmallows and Chocolate Chunks, you definitely can’t go wrong with these two!!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Creamy PB
  • 1 cup Raw Cashew Butter
  • 1/2 cup Marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chunks
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 2 1/2 cups organic bran flakes cereal
  • 1 cup oatmeal

Directions:

In a large bowl mix all the ingredients until well combined. Line a 9 x 13 pan with parchment paper, transfer the mixture into in.  Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before cutting and serving.

These bars are Vegan, so easy to make, and very delicious! Just look how gooey and buttery they look, the marshmallows and chocolate chunks give you the feeling of a decadent dessert bar!! The texture is amazing from the cereal and oatmeal, chewy and a little crunchy, buttery and soft from the nut butters! You can enjoy these for breakfast or as a snack guilt free!

Enjoy,

Catalina!

  1. Great item to take on the run, lots of protein and no doubt very filling! The other bonus is that they are so easy to prepare. Those pictures sure do make me want to eat them-tasty post!

  2. This looks fabulous! I’ve tried making no-bake desserts, but they turn out that great. I should try this, maybe I’ll finally find some success :)
